JG Speedfit Metric to Imperial Conversion Connector – 15mm & 22mm

The JG Speedfit Conversion Connector provides a quick and simple solution for joining metric plumbing pipe to older imperial pipe sizes.

Ideal for repairs, alterations and plumbing upgrades where existing imperial pipework needs to connect to modern metric pipe, this push-fit conversion adaptor is available in two sizes: the JG Speedfit 15mm x 1/2" Conversion Connector NC471 and the larger 22mm x 3/4" Conversion Connector NC2324.

The popular NC471 allows modern 15mm pipework to be joined to 1/2" nominal imperial pipe, making it particularly useful when working on older UK plumbing installations where imperial copper pipe remains in place.

For larger pipework, the NC2324 provides the equivalent conversion between 22mm metric pipe and 3/4" nominal imperial pipe.

JG Speedfit's push-fit design allows the connection to be made quickly without soldering, glue, flux or specialist tools. The fitting can also be demounted when required, making it useful for both permanent plumbing installations and alteration or repair work.

The Grip & Seal connection incorporates stainless steel teeth to grip the pipe securely alongside an O-ring seal.

JG Speedfit Conversion Connectors are compatible with copper pipe as well as suitable Speedfit PEX and polybutylene plastic pipe. When using plastic pipe, the appropriate pipe insert must be installed.

For example, the NC471 can be used when modern 15mm pipework needs to connect to existing 1/2" nominal imperial pipe, while the NC2324 provides the equivalent connection for 22mm and 3/4" imperial pipework.
