Kartell Type 11 - 400mm High Radiator (Widths: 400mm - 3000mm)

The Kartell Type 11 400mm High Radiator is a slim, low-height central heating radiator available in a wide choice of widths from 400mm right through to 3000mm. Part of Kartell's K-Rad Kompact range, these 400mm high radiators are particularly useful beneath windows, on lower walls and in rooms where a standard 500mm or 600mm high radiator may be too tall.

Also known as a K1 radiator, the Type 11 construction consists of one heating panel with one row of convector fins. This single panel single convector radiator design gives the radiator a slim depth of just 56mm, helping minimise projection into the room while still providing useful central heating output. Kartell confirms the Type 11 construction and 56mm depth in its current technical information.

Choose from 400mm, 500mm, 600mm, 700mm, 800mm, 900mm, 1000mm, 1100mm, 1200mm, 1400mm, 1600mm, 1800mm, 2000mm, 2200mm and 3000mm widths. At ΔT50, outputs range from 270 watts / 921 BTU for the compact 400 × 400mm model up to 2024 watts / 6906 BTU for the 400 × 3000mm radiator.

Manufactured from mild steel, the Kartell K-Rad radiator has a RAL 9016 gloss white enamel finish and is suitable for operating pressures up to 10 bar and maximum operating temperatures of 120°C. Kartell also provides a 10-year guarantee. Factory-fitted top grilles and side panels are included along with brackets, bolts, vents and plugs.

The 400mm-high Type 11 radiator has a 345mm vertical connection centre distance and wall-to-connection centre options of 40mm or 55mm.

Always calculate the BTU or watt requirement of your room before choosing a radiator size. If the available wall space does not provide enough output from a Type 11 radiator, consider a Type 21 or Type 22 radiator with a higher heat output.
