Kartell Type 11 - 600mm High Radiator (Widths: 300mm - 3000mm)
Width:
From £27.97
From £23.31(EX VAT)
The Kartell K-Rad Type 11 600mm High Radiator combines the popular 600mm radiator height with a slim single panel design and an exceptionally wide selection of radiator widths. From compact 300mm-wide models through to extra-wide 3000mm radiators, the range makes it easier to select the right size and heat output for bedrooms, hallways, kitchens, living rooms and other spaces around the home.
Also known as a K1 radiator, a Type 11 radiator contains one heating panel and one row of convector fins. This single panel single convector construction gives the radiator a slim 56mm depth, making it particularly useful where you want to minimise how far the radiator projects into the room.
Kartell's current standard schedule includes 600 x 300mm, 600 x 400mm, 600 x 500mm, 600 x 600mm, 600 x 700mm, 600 x 800mm, 600 x 900mm, 600 x 1000mm, 600 x 1100mm, 600 x 1200mm, 600 x 1300mm, 600 x 1400mm, 600 x 1500mm, 600 x 1600mm, 600 x 1800mm, 600 x 2000mm, 600 x 2200mm, 600 x 2400mm and 600 x 3000mm Type 11 radiators. Kartell also notes that other widths may be available in 100mm increments as special orders.
At ΔT50, outputs range from 285 watts / 972 BTU for the 600 x 300mm radiator up to 2849 watts / 9722 BTU for the 600 x 3000mm version.
Top tip: always choose a radiator by the BTU or watt output the room requires rather than simply choosing the biggest size that will fit. Increasing the radiator width increases heat output substantially while retaining the same 600mm height and slim Type 11 profile.
Manufactured from mild steel, the K-Rad Kompact is finished in RAL 9016 gloss white enamel. The 600mm-high Type 11 radiator is 56mm deep, has a 545mm vertical connection centre distance, and can be installed with a 40mm or 55mm wall-to-centre measurement depending on bracket orientation.
Each radiator is supplied with factory-fitted top grille and side panels, brackets, fixing bolts, vent and plug. Radiator valves are sold separately. Kartell rates the radiator for operating pressures up to 10 bar and a maximum operating temperature of 120°C.
