Kartell Type 22 - 300mm High Radiator (Widths: 400mm - 2000mm)

The Kartell K-Rad Type 22 300mm High Radiator combines a low-height design with the strong heating performance of a double panel double convector radiator. At just 300mm high, it is particularly useful beneath low windows, on shorter walls and in rooms where a standard 500mm or 600mm high radiator may not fit.

Also known as a K2 radiator, a Type 22 radiator features two heating panels and two rows of convector fins. This construction provides substantially more heat output than a comparable Type 11 single panel radiator while retaining the same 300mm overall height.

The range includes 300 x 400mm, 300 x 600mm, 300 x 800mm, 300 x 1000mm, 300 x 1200mm, 300 x 1400mm, 300 x 1600mm and 300 x 2000mm Type 22 radiators.

At ΔT50, heat outputs range from 420 watts / 1432 BTU for the compact 300 x 400mm model up to 2098 watts / 7159 BTU for the 300 x 2000mm radiator. Kartell's current technical schedule confirms these individual outputs.

Top tip: low height does not necessarily mean low heat output. Increasing the radiator width and using a Type 22 double panel double convector construction allows considerably more output while keeping the radiator only 300mm tall. Always calculate the BTU or watt requirement of the room before selecting your size.

The radiator is manufactured from mild steel and finished in RAL 9016 gloss white enamel. Type 22 K-Rad radiators are 105mm deep, rated for operating pressures up to 10 bar and a maximum operating temperature of 120°C.

Each radiator includes factory-fitted top grille and side panels, wall brackets, fixing components, vent and plug. Radiator valves are sold separately.
