Kartell Type 22 - 400mm High Radiator (Widths: 400mm - 2200mm)

The Kartell K-Rad Type 22 400mm High Radiator combines a lower 400mm profile with the high heating performance of a double panel double convector radiator. Available in an extensive choice of widths from 400mm to 2200mm, this K-Rad Kompact range is ideal where vertical wall space is restricted but a strong heat output is still required.

Also known as a K2 radiator, a Type 22 radiator features two heating panels with two rows of convector fins. This double panel double convector construction provides considerably greater heat output than comparable Type 11 or Type 21 radiators of the same height and width.

The range includes 400 x 400mm, 400 x 500mm, 400 x 600mm, 400 x 700mm, 400 x 800mm, 400 x 900mm, 400 x 1000mm, 400 x 1100mm, 400 x 1200mm, 400 x 1400mm, 400 x 1600mm, 400 x 1800mm, 400 x 2000mm and 400 x 2200mm Type 22 radiators.

At ΔT50, outputs range from 533 watts / 1819 BTU for the compact 400 x 400mm model up to 2932 watts / 10003 BTU for the 400 x 2200mm radiator.

Top tip: always calculate the BTU or watt output required for your room before selecting a radiator. Increasing the width can provide substantially greater heat output while allowing you to retain the same low 400mm radiator height.

Manufactured from mild steel, the Kartell K-Rad Kompact radiator is finished in RAL 9016 gloss white enamel. The Type 22 design is 105mm deep, with a 345mm vertical connection centre distance and wall-to-connection centre options of 82.5mm or 97.5mm.

Each radiator is supplied with factory-fitted top grille and side panels, wall brackets, fixing components, vent and plug. Radiator valves are sold separately.
