Kartell Type 22 - 500mm High Radiator (Widths: 300mm - 2400mm)

The Kartell K-Rad Type 22 500mm High Radiator combines the versatile 500mm radiator height with the powerful heating performance of a double panel double convector design. Available in an extensive range of widths from just 300mm up to 2400mm, it gives you a particularly wide choice of heat outputs for bedrooms, kitchens, living rooms, dining rooms and larger open-plan spaces.

Also known as a K2 radiator, a Type 22 radiator features two heating panels with two rows of convector fins. This double panel double convector construction delivers significantly greater heating performance than comparable Type 11 or Type 21 radiators of the same height and width.

The range includes 500 x 300mm, 500 x 400mm, 500 x 500mm, 500 x 600mm, 500 x 700mm, 500 x 800mm, 500 x 900mm, 500 x 1000mm, 500 x 1100mm, 500 x 1200mm, 500 x 1300mm, 500 x 1400mm, 500 x 1500mm, 500 x 1600mm, 500 x 1800mm, 500 x 2000mm, 500 x 2200mm and 500 x 2400mm Type 22 radiators.

At ΔT50, outputs range from 478 watts / 1632 BTU for the compact 500 x 300mm radiator up to 3826 watts / 13,540 BTU for the 500 x 2400mm model.

Top tip: always calculate your room's required BTU or watt output before choosing a radiator. Increasing the width can dramatically increase heat output while keeping the same 500mm height, so there is no need to simply choose the largest radiator that will fit.

Manufactured from mild steel, the Kartell K-Rad Kompact radiator is finished in RAL 9016 gloss white enamel. The Type 22 construction is 105mm deep, with a 445mm vertical connection centre distance and wall-to-connection centre options of 82.5mm or 97.5mm.

Each radiator is supplied with factory-fitted top grille and side panels, wall brackets, fixing components, vent and plug. Radiator valves are sold separately. Kartell rates the range for operating pressures up to 10 bar and maximum operating temperatures of 120°C.
