From £40.42

The Kartell K-Rad Type 22 600mm High Radiator combines one of the most popular radiator heights with the high heating performance of a double panel double convector design. Available in a huge choice of widths from just 300mm through to 3000mm, this K-Rad Kompact range provides options for everything from restricted wall spaces to larger rooms requiring substantial heat output.
Also known as a K2 radiator, a Type 22 radiator features two heating panels and two rows of convector fins. This double panel double convector construction provides considerably greater heating output than comparable Type 11 or Type 21 radiators of the same height and width.
Kartell's current range includes 600 x 300mm, 600 x 400mm, 600 x 500mm, 600 x 600mm, 600 x 700mm, 600 x 800mm, 600 x 900mm, 600 x 1000mm, 600 x 1100mm, 600 x 1200mm, 600 x 1300mm, 600 x 1400mm, 600 x 1500mm, 600 x 1600mm, 600 x 1800mm, 600 x 2000mm, 600 x 2200mm, 600 x 2400mm, 600 x 2700mm and 600 x 3000mm Type 22 radiators.
At ΔT50, outputs range from 551 watts / 1,878 BTU for the compact 600 x 300mm radiator up to 5,504 watts / 18,780 BTU for the extra-wide 600 x 3000mm model.
Top tip: always calculate the BTU or watt output required for the room before choosing your radiator. Increasing the width dramatically increases output while retaining the same 600mm height, so the largest radiator that fits is not automatically the correct radiator.
Manufactured from mild steel, the Kartell K-Rad Kompact is finished in RAL 9016 gloss white enamel. The Type 22 construction has a 105mm depth, a 545mm vertical connection centre distance, and wall-to-connection centre options of 82.5mm or 97.5mm.
Each radiator is supplied with factory-fitted top grille and side panels plus brackets, bolts, vent and plug. Kartell rates the range for operating pressures up to 10 bar and a maximum operating temperature of 120°C, with outputs tested to EN 442.
